I saw Cullen up in Seattle pre-season and I thought he looked v lightweight. Admittedly I thought Byram looked lightweight too.

The stand out player of all the youngsters that game was Reece Burke. He should kick on and play a part next season.

Whilst 1307 watched the play off match I re-lived us beating his beloved Spurs again.

I've watched Cullen a few times and think it's very unfair to say that he always plays the easy pass. It would be impossible to say this and be a Noble fan.

The lads deserves a chance.

Cullen is 21.
Cullen is older than Dele Ali.
Cullen is 3 years older than Davies at Everton.

Enough said.
Time to accept his limitations.

Based on your comment, you didn't watch the match, or you didn't pay attention.

Stuck indoors so decided to watch the game to check Cullen.

Sorry, he will never be a PL footballer.
he had no influence on the game and always played the easy , non effective pass when in possession.

Sad to say another youngster to cross off as he is league one at best.

Sven - Yes, Clive Thomas, in our favour, when he disallowed an Ipswich goal in the semi-final at Stamford Bridge in '75. The lino hadn't even twitched his flag.

Has a referee ever called a line decision on an offside?
Sometimes they decide whether someone got a touch or whether someone was influencing play but they are usually at the mercy of their lino's

Haven't seen it but another decision that could have benefited from a video ref?
Should be in next season for me.

Lily Hammer 7:13 Sat May 20
Re: Josh Cullen - Football League Young Player of the Month
That was so tight, the lino can be forgiven, the ref had no chance of calling that from where he was. I'm not 100% it was off-side after watching teh replay just the once after the goal.

Apart from the offside goal you mean

Re: Josh Cullen - Football League Young Player of the Month
Yeah, that was a top draw save.

I also agree with how good the ref was. Didn't really miss a thing, even the discrete and sneaky things. The only mistake he made was to point the wrong way after correctly awarding a free kick at the begining of the second half, which he had a self-deprecitiating laugh at and then pointed the right way.

He put the PL refs to shame and should get a promotion himself.

that save was the key on the first half

Re: Josh Cullen - Football League Young Player of the Month
Cullen played well. didn't put a foot wrong. It seemed like the others were afraid to pass to him when he was in tight spots, but he never let them down when he did get the ball in tight spots, so my conclusion is that they should have passed to him more and they'd be up.

I'm still not sure he's ready to hold down a first team place in the top division, but he should be given a go in the pre-season to see what happens and the Augst leagu ematches.

I can't help but feel one more season on loan at Bradford would have been good for him, had they got up. If he's is to go out on another loan, it should be to a club a division up.

Morrison up in my estimation there.

Didn't feel the need to please his fans, said it had ruined it for him.

Pricks.
